Göztepe stadium land is located in the city center where cur-
rently the Gürsel Aksel Sports Facilities are located. The sports
center and open-air sports area functions will be continued in
the other facilities of the club and the structures in these areas
will be removed. Since the stadium is located in the city center,
it was aimed to establish a relation between the structure and
the city as well as the citizens. There are transportation net-
works such as subway and bus stops to the north of the area.
The park that is located on the way from these networks was
included in the project as a public space and a gathering spot as
well as a meeting point thus it was aimed to establish a relation
between this location and the shops at the ground floor of the
building as well as the food court area.
The general attributes of the climate of Izmir played an impor-
tant role in the project design process. Semi-permeable materi-
als that will enable air flow were used on the façades and the
roofs so that the spectator foyers and the grass can receive
natural light. In addition, it was aimed to discharge rain water
from the roof via channels to be filtered in the basement pools
for reuse in the system. The stadium has a total of 15 thousand
spectator seats, 500 VIP seats, 3000 UEFA Club seats in addi-
tion to a 250 seat capacity lounge section and 20 lounges in the
west section. There are 12 elevators in the stadium along with
parking space for 600 vehicles 500 of which are closed as well
as 10 bus parking spot.
Lounge, VIP areas, stadium management, restaurant and food-
court are located at the mezzanine floor. Sales units have been
placed to the south and east entrances of the stadium.

hem toplanma alanı, hem de buluşma alanı olarak projeye dah l
ed lm ş ve stadın zem n katındak satış b r mler ve yeme- çme
alanlarıyla l şk kurması amaçlanmıştır.

olmuştur. Sey rc fuayeler n n ve ç mler n doğal yollarla havalan-
dırılab lmes , ç mler n doğal ışık alab lmes ç n cephelerde ve
çatıda yarı geç rgen hava akımının sağlanab leceğ malzemeler
kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca yağmur suyunun, çatıdan kanallarla tahl ye
ed lerek, bodrum katta havuzlarda arıtılıp tekrar s stemde kul-
lanılması amaçlanmıştır. Toplam 15 b n sey rc koltuğu, 500 VIP
sey rc koltuğu, 3000 UEFA Club koltuğunun yer aldığı statta
250 koltuk kapas tel loca bölümü ve batı tr bününde toplam
20 adet loca bulunmaktadır.12 Asansörün bulunduğu statta 500
ü kapalı olmak üzere 600 otopark ve 10 araçlık otobüs parkı yer
almaktadır.
