Öner len projede, dünya t caret tar h nde çok öneml yer
bulunan Kayser ’n n, Kan ş - Karum’un var oluşundan t baren
günümüze kadar gelen, t carettek marka değer n ön plana
çıkartmak hedeflenm ş, kent le zem nde ve düşeyde görsel ve
f z ksel etk leş m alanları oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır. Projen n aynı
zamanda, kent n t carette dünyaya açılan b r penceres olması
amaçlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda çağdaşı yakalayan b r m mar d l
ve tasarım kurgusu ben msenm ş, bununla b rl kte Kayser ’n n
t caret kültürü ve tar h ne de göndermeler yapılmıştır.
Kayseri has been the center of commerce for centuries and it
has carried this over to the modern day thus becoming one of
the leading cities in Turkey in terms of commerce. T
he proposed project aims to put forth the commercial brand
value of Kayseri dating back to the formation of Kaniş – Karum
which has a very important place in the history of world com-
merce, thus visual and physical interaction areas with the city
were tried to be established at the ground level as well as the
vertical axis. Another objective was to ensure that the project
becomes the window of the city opening to worldwide com-
merce. In this regard, a modern style and design concept was
adopted with references to the rich commercial history and
culture of Kayseri.
