Bölgeye yapılacak tes sle, bölgede, hem sport f, hem de sosyo-kül-
türel anlamda b r alt merkez oluşturulması amaçlanmıştır. Bu bağ-
lamda, yapıda, kent n farklı katmanlarındak kullanıcılarının stek-
ler ne cevap vereb lecek şlev çeş tl l ğ esas alınmıştır. Komplekste
yüzme havuzu, f tnes salonu, okçuluk salonu, 6 adet b reysel sporlar
salonu, takım sporları salonu, soyunma odaları, serg salonu, çok
amaçlı salon, eğ t m b r mler , dar b r mler ve kafeterya yer almak-
tadır. Eğ ml b r araz üzer ne konumlanan yapıda yüksek kot farkı ve
manzara yönü ana tasarım g rd s n oluşturmaktadır. Yüzme havu-
zu, f tnes ve kafeterya g b en çok kullanılan ve günışığına ht yacı
olan b r mler manzara yönünde konumlandırılmıştır. Eğ me paralel
yönde orta omurgada oluşturulan ana fuayeden bütün salonlara ve
havuza yatay ve düşeyde çok rahat er ş leb lmekted r. Aynı fuaye-
den manzaraya hak m yönde kurgulanmış kafeteryaya ulaşılmakta
ve sey r mkanı sağlanmaktadır. Y ne araz üzer nde kot farklılıklarıyla
oluşturulan merd ven ve amf düzen yle de kentl ç n buluşma ve
sey r alanı oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır.
The project area is located at the developing Kuzeykent neighbor-
hood of Kastamonu. The objective in building such a facility in the
region was to establish a sportive center which can also function
as a socio-cultural facility. In this regard, functional variation for
meeting the demands of dierent users of the city was the basis for
the structure. There is a swimming pool, a fitness hall, archery hall,
6 sports halls for individual sports, team sports halls, locker rooms,
exhibition center, multipurpose hall, training units, administrative
units and cafeteria. The high elevation dierence and landscape
direction are the main inputs for the design of the structure which
is located on a sloped terrain. Areas which require sunlight such
as swimming pool, fitness hall and cafeteria are located towards
the scenery. All halls and the swimming pool can be reached along
the horizontal and vertical axes from the main foyer on the middle
backbone that is parallel to the elevation. The cafeteria can be
reached from the same foyer and the scenery can be enjoyed from
this location. A meeting spot and a scenic terrace was tried to be
established via the staircase and amphitheater layout due to the
elevation dierence.
